June 18 – KWA Open House

The Kansas Writer’s Association Open House is fast approaching! Next Saturday, June 18, at the Sedgwick County Extension office, Sunflower Room, 21st and Ridge, from 2-4. You can enter from either street and park on either side. Access is easy and there are plentiful restrooms. https://www.sedgwick.k-state.edu/

We welcome our new members and guests for snacks, door prizes, and a program on The Hero’s Journey, a classic story structure. Our published authors will also share their writing voyages, as well as having their books available for purchase. We will answer your questions and help you discover what Kansas Writers Association can do to help you reach your writing goals.

We support writers of all genres, fiction and non-fiction as well as poetry and songwriting. We learn from each other at every meeting. And we are a remarkably fun group as well! Please join us and bring friends.
