Our last regular meeting of 2022 will be next Saturday, 1:30 to 4, at the Sedgwick County Extension office at 21st and Ridge. We will have a potluck smorgasbord of finger foods and a white elephant gift exchange. We’ll have no formal program, but I’m sure we will have a lively discussion. Our new board members will be coordinating with the current board to prepare for taking over in January.
This will be our last meeting here, as the rates increased too steeply for us to absorb. This increase caused us to raise our dues to $25 a year, still a bargain and the first time we have raised it since I joined almost 20 years ago. At the meeting, we’ll share our new location, which is easily accessible and will be open for us without someone having to pick up and return a key.
Hope to see nearly all of you there so we can celebrate our past accomplishments and pledge new ones for 2023!
