November 16th Writing Prompts

It’s almost time again for the KWA monthly meeting, which means it’s time for you to think about trying a writing challenge. If you haven’t tried doing so, now is your chance!

The words to play with are: violin – strawberry – cow – courage – nuts

Prompt: Turn an inanimate object into a character, maybe something from your home.

Author: Starla

Starla Criser is multi-published as a children's book author and author of older relationship stories. I am also multi-published in romance as Starla Kaye.

  1. At the last meeting it was mentioned those who are authors should bring some copies of their books to sell for November… they might make some authors happy, and could be used for upcoming Christmas gifts. But there was no info on that in this column.

  2. I don’t understand what 9415 E. Harry St. #603 has to do with the Kansas Writers Assoc. (that meets at Rockwell Library, every third Sat. of the month) — or why that address is posted on the internet??

  3. These writing prompts are really getting my creative juices flowing. I especially like the one about turning an inanimate object into a character.
