Brian Balzer and JaTonna Kirkwood
KWA had six of our published authors at the Local Author Day event offered by the Wichita Public Library on August 8, 2026. The authors who took part included Catherine Feemster, Stan Finger, Jessie Fishel, Ken Locke, John Payne, and Kathy Pritchett.
Additional members present were Brian Balzer and JaTonna Kirkwood, who manned the KWA table. Starla Criser worked as an event volunteer and took individual photos of every author in attendance.
