KWA had a special speaker, Steven Owens, for the monthly meeting. As an audio book narrator/producer, he presented a program all about the Ins and Outs of audio books. He pointed out that audio books are becoming the major way books are “read” today.
Steven shared with the group the complicated steps it takes to create an audio book. It is far more than simply closing yourself in a small, fairly sound-proof space to record a book.
