KWA meets on the first Saturday of every month.
Monthly meeting location is the Evergreen Branch Library at 2601 N Arkansas, Wichita, KS 67204
January 3rd – Laurie L. Dove, author of Mask of the Deer Woman will present to the group.
February 7th – Steven Owens, audiobook narrator/producer, will present to the group.
March 7th – Group discussion on KWA anthologies; members sharing about their writing projects.
April 4th – Randy Clinkscales will present on legal issues including ‘How to protect your assets and royalties after you die.’
May 2nd – The Pitfalls of Writing – Presentation by Morris Floyd and Brian Balzer
June 6th – Presentation on Cover Design using Canva by Jessie Fishe
July 4th – Prose in the Park – Creative writing exercises – Potluck dinner – Plenty of fun

August 1st – Presentation by guest speaker, Brian Johnson, on Podcasts
September 5th – Discussion to be led by Kathy Pritchett on ‘Why do we write?’
October 3rd – Presentation on Writing Software: Atticus, Scrivener – Google Docs (and MS Word, time allowing) – by Jessie Fishel – Ken Locke (and Brian Balzer, time allowing)
November 7th – Board member elections – Discussion of 2027 presentation topics
December 5th – End of year/Christmas party – Potluck dinner – White Elephant gift exchange
